Betting/Gambling in Game
Due to a certain but recent in game event we would like to address this issue publicly and stress guild policies.

Blizzard has a set of rules called the Code of Conduct. While many of these rules are vague with a lot of grey areas; it is not our wish as a guild to follow or enforce a strict interpretation of Blizzard's Code of Conduct.

However, we feel that we should address this issue head on. Blizzard states that Betting/Gambling in game falls under the Terms of Use - Section B - Line ix and based on the Casino/Gambling thread on the World of Warcraft forums the punishment would fall under the Harassment Category in terms of punishment should you get caught. Please note that both the solicitor, scammed party and/or the indivuduals involved in the Gambling/Betting incident can be either given a warning or temporary suspension depending on the severness of the incident. Repeating the offense can result in further suspension and/or permanent banning from the game.

Ballistic feels that "we" as a guild can not enforce Blizzard types of policies. What we can do is treat this as a Harassment issue. We, the guild, feel that you should put up or shut up. If there was some questionable reason as to why you would suspect that the other party involved would try to decieve you or cheat you; then common sense should tell you "Why should I take the bet in the first place?"

Consider this a warning to those Ballistic members participating in any type of "Bet" and not willing to deliver. Repeat offenses can result in demotion and removal from the guild.
